Description:

Portuguese silver samovar, century. XIX, with lamp. Partly gummed body, decorated with two lateral handles in the shape of lion heads snapping up on a ring, resting on four high feet topped by a claw. Lid button and lath in turned wood. With urn-shaped lamp, partially glued, without contrast, under Decree-Law 120/2017, of September 15 - art. 2, paragraph 2, point c). Samovar with Porto contrast (P-25.0a), in use from 1810 to 1826, and goldsmith mark IFG (P-327.0), attributable to José Ferreira Guimarães, in use from 1799 to 1842. Small defects, risks and signs of use. Approx weight: 5680 g .; Height approx .: 55 cm.
