Description:

Indo-Portuguese cabinet from the 17th century, in kingwood, exotic types of wood and ivory. Top, sides and front decorated with inlaid work in ivory, with frames through friezes with plant motifs. Top cover showing an upper section with six drawers, simulating eight, decorated with floral designs, rows of flowers and frames by means of friezes with plant motifs. Escutcheons in lobed metal in the shape of a double-headed eagle. Metal handles. Slight defects and restoration work.
